The real test of a training is what walks back into work the next day.

Why leadership communication training must go beyond the workshop
A recent training reminded me of something important:
For years, I thought my job was to give people better communication tools.
But better tools are only half the job.
The other half is giving people enough practice that they’ll actually use those tools when they’re back in the messiness of real work.
Not just in the safety of the workshop.
In the meeting.
In the update.
In the hard conversation.
In the moment when clarity actually matters.
Because no one gets extra credit for silently understanding a good framework.
The win is when they go back to work and use it.
That’s the kind of training I want to keep designing.
